Robbie Williams has walked back through his life in looks while speaking out about some of the most iconic moments of his 32-year long career.
The singer, 48, who rose to fame with Take That in 1990, retraced his time in the boyband, took a peek at his post-group days of bleached hair and Adidas tracksuits, and recalled the gruelling days on the set of his music video for his 2000 hit Rock DJ, when it took him seven hours to get into a lycra bodysuit costume.
Pop star Robbie told
of the promo: 'The latex outfit that took seven hours to get in, two hours to get out of.

He explained: 'We are of course aping Kiss. I was actually worried they were going to sue me because they did a lot of that when it came to anybody doing anything like this.
'I had my make-up done by the wonderful Gina Kane who has been my make-up artist for 27 years.
'I was very loose that day and, if I do say so myself, performed very well for a video shoot.'

Questionable? Looking back on his boyband years, Robbie described the video for Take That's 1992 track Do What U Like as 'the worst video ever to be made' (L-R: Gary Barlow, Robbie, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen)
'Two things about that video. I was immensely proud that we did a pop promotional video. I also thought, nobody should ever see it.
'We were of an era and an age where controversy was a good thing, and also I for one am one of those people that says, "You know, if there's a button and it says ‘don't touch', I'm going to press that button".
'So with controversy, or raunchy, or too much… you can never have too much. Too much please.'

Change of plan: He added: 'So Gary took over and did the lead vocal on this tune and did an excellent job. Absolutely smashed it' (Gary (left) and (Robbie) seen in the Relight My Fire music video in 1993)

Fame game: Robbie found fame with Take That in the early nineties before going on to launch a successful solo career (pictured on-stage at the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party in 1992)

Born to perform: Robbie ensured he caught the attention of the crowd at the BRIT Awards as he donned a cropped leather jacket and matching trousers (pictured with Tom Jones in 199

Life after Take That: Elsewhere, the star spoke of his post-Take That days, looking at the famous pictures of himself with bleach blonde hair at Glastonbury in 1995 (pictured with Noel Gallagher)

[/img]
Huge shows: Elsewhere, Robbie Recalled his epic 2003 solo gigs at Knebworth Park where he performed to 375,000 people over three days
Recalling his mental health and drug troubles at the time, he said: 'I felt like I shouldn't be there. I felt like I didn't belong. I felt alien. At the same time as experiencing all of those things, was experiencing incredible hedonism in the most rock and roll manner.
Which is the antithesis of what I was supposed to be in public or in private.
'I'd been living that way in private for a long time because there was no social media so nobody knew or could find out really.
'I do have to say, the reality of what that day was, was me in the back of a catering van, feeling incredibly paranoid, experiencing very heavy psychosis. The pictures and what you think it was actually betray the reality.'

[/img]
Settling down: Robbie has been married to model and actress Ayda Field since 2010 (couple pictured at The Sea of Trees premiere during the Cannes Film Festival in 2015)
Looking at a picture of himself at the location, he said: 'I have a responsibility to give these people a good time, no matter how I feel. At this particular time, I was sober, but I was really depressed.
'The guy that lived his day to day basis quite sedentary and isolated couldn't get on stage because that would be boring.
'There's always a dichotomy with my career. What I have to do in public opposed to who I actually am in my real life.
'At the moment, the two are getting closer and closer together.'
